About Journal

The journal "Food Engineering Research" publishes scientific research articles in the fields of food engineering, written in Persian and not published in other journals or other publication formats, through the system https://fooder.areeo.ac.ir accepts the articles and reviews and evaluates them. If approved, the articles will be printed in the order in which they were received. Also, the compilation, review or analysis articles prepared by expert scientists and at the invitation of the editorial board in the field of current issues in technical research and the food industry are published after review and approval.

 

History Journal of Food Engineering Research

The Journal of Food Engineering Research, A refereed publication, The Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research was established in 1996 and ever since has been published by the Agricultural Engineering Research Institute, Karaj Iran. The Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research was separated to two specific field of agricultural mechanization and Irrigation structures in 2014 and Food Engineering Research Journal in 2018. Now, the journal of Food Engineering Research (Food Eng. Res.) is published focusing on aspects of Food Engineering and post-harvest technologies. As one of the most valid and scholarly journals in the country the journal is published in Farsi, along with the abstracts in English as well. This journal is basically dedicated to promoting scholarly exchanges among professors, researchers, and students of different universities, and research institutes, focusing in particular on the exploration of cutting edge knowledge on food engineering and post-harvest technologies.  The journal publishes the most up-to date manuscripts that advance understanding in the areas of specialization. Features of the journal "Food Industry Engineering Research"

  • Publisher: Agricultural Engineering Research Institute (http://www.aeri.ir)
  • Publication license: with scientific research degree number 3/18/311325 dated 2019 February  25  from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
  • Scientific rank: it has received a scientific rank of "B" in the field of agriculture and natural resources in the evaluation of publications of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 2022.
  • Scientific Rank in Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization: in the evaluation of scientific publications in 1400, it has received +92 points and grade +A among 74 publications (https://evaljournals.areeo.ac.ir/) .
  • Ethical code: This publication follows the rules of COPE (Committee on Ethics in Publishing).
  • Type of access: This journal is published every two quarters and is open access.
  • Approach to publication: The journal's approach to publishing articles is based on the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) 4.0 International License, which is displayed at (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0).
  • Type of peer review: All articles are peer-reviewed in a closed procedure by at least 2 reviewers.
  • Language of publication: Farsi with English abstract and keywords
  • Extended English Summary: In order to increase the effectiveness in the indexing databases, the extended summary of the articles will be requested from the responsible author after the final acceptance.
  • Plagiarism Software: In order to protect the rights and intellectual property of the researchers and authors, the system "Hamanandjo-Irandoc" or "Hamanandiyab-Sinaob" is used for Persian articles and the software "iThenticate" is used for English articles in checking the authenticity of the articles in this publication. Similarity more than 35% is not acceptable.
  • Article review fee: According to the instructions issued by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology since 2021, there is no fee for the first collection and review of articles.
  • Publication Fee: If the article is accepted, an amount of 2,000,000 Rial will be charged to cover the cost of peer review, editing, page layout, etc. For information on payment exemptions, please refer to the Author's Guide.

Environmental Stresses in Crop Sciences is a fully open-access journal, which means that all articles are available on the Web to all users immediately upon publication. Food Engineering Research is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display and make derivative works only if they cite the original published article. In this journal and Under open access license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content, but allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy the content as long as the original authors and source are cited properly. The authors are the copyright holder in this journal.

Subscription Fee: Journal of Food Engineering Research publishes as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.
